Count your blessings-flat seas in march!

Had a group of 5 join me to make the run offshore. They too had never had the thrill of an AJ. We marched out to 95 ft of water and were greeted by another swarm of ajs. They were VERY FINICKY. The vertical jig came out and seemed to be the hot ticket. They took turns reeling in the fish. Our two youngest anglers handled the ajs like pros! Grandpa is definitely teaching them right! After everyone had their turn, We ran in a bit shallower to work on some other tasty treats. Lots of snapper and porgies, along with another keeper grouper were added to the box. Weather was about as flat as it could be, and we were blessed to spend it out fishing.
