great wesather and a solid bite!

The weather Gods blessed us with a gorgeous day to be on the water.  We took advantage and ran out a little deeper looking for the solid bite.  The Lane and Vermillion snapper were happy to cooperate with lots of fish coming up over the side for the fish fry.  The grouper bite came later in the day with a flurry of them caught.  Two legal sized grouper joined us for dinner with the biggest being roughly 26".  We fished with a plethora of live baits including pinfish, sardines, squirrel fish and spottails, along with fresh cut squid.. The largest fish came on none other than the vertical jig being bounced off the bottom.  Was a great day with a great crew.  Tight Lines!
