About The Captain
Captain Daniel Medina is a Miami-born native Floridian with 30+ years of Saltwater fishing experience. He has the knowledge and expertise to put you on fish. He holds a United States Coast Guard 50 Ton Master Captains License with a commercial towing endorsement.
Prior to moving to the SWFL coast, he was guiding inshore in both Biscayne Bay and Flamingo. More recently, He has worked for the local TowBoat US out of Cape Coral as both a captain and marine mechanic from February of 2011 to march of 2016. He enjoys diving, spear fishing, fishing and lobstering when the time permits. He is a father of 3 beautiful daughters and husband to an equally beautiful wife. On most trips, Capt Dan will play both roles (captain and mate).
"As a full time captain, I spend an average of 200-300 days a year on the water. I take pride in providing each and every one of my customers with a great time. While I continue to fish and set my own personal goals for trophy catches, I get as much if not more pleasure from helping others meet their personal goals, be it their first fish, personal best, etc...
I take pride in being different from other captains. As fishing truly is my pride and passion, My ultimate goal is to out-fish the other boats back at the dock. I want to provide you with LASTING MEMORIES. Sometimes this requires making farther runs, or spending a little extra time on the water. While other captains may try to squeeze every penny out of the trip, and watch their clocks like a hawk, or providing you with mediocre gear, I approach each trip to my own personal expectations. I will do my best to ensure your trip is one to remember. Give me a call and lets talk fishing!"

The Boats
"The SALTY BEAST" is our beautiful 33 FT WORLD CAT Tournament Edition Center Console powered by Twin Yamaha 300 Horsepower 4 stroke outboards. It has a comfortable cruise speed of 30 mph with top end speeds of over 46 MPH. It has modern electronics with state of the art fishfinder, autopilot, GPS and more. It has a wide beam at 10'6" (which carries the full length of the boat, nearly 37 ft)....Its like being on a small island on the water! There is not one, but 2 giant livewells in the stern, a toilet in the forward cabin and of coarse the amazing ride that catamarans are known for. It is truly a fishing machine.
She is equipped with all required Coast Guard equipment. In addition, although not required, I have 2 forms of satellite communication: an EPIRB as well as a 2 way satellite text messenger. The marine bean bags are a guest favorites as well!
The 22 Blazer Bay Professional
Added to our fleet in late 2020, the 22 Blazer Bay is a great inshore fishing platform! It is powered by a 200 horsepower Yamaha that helps her scoot along at a nice 30-40 mph cruise and reaches top speeds of 50 mph! She has 2 livewells for keeping bait nice and frisky. She's got a brand new motorguide trolling motor with spot lock on the bow to creep up ultra stealthy on those spooky inshore fish. She drafts right at 12" of water so she does a great job of getting skinny too! She can run in as shallow as 10 inches of water with her jackplate up! The large front deck is a great spot to sight cast fish working the oyster bars, flats and mangrove shorelines!
